ABOUT
THIS PROJECT
Plain-language version. The site itself is in-universe; this page is not.
ANIMA.EXE™: The Null Gospel is a multimedia project by the artist LUX.INVIDIA. It combines original music, a serialized science-fiction narrative, and an archive of past work — all presented through a single visual conceit: a clinical broadcast disrupted by a magenta-colored corruption.
The clipped jargon, the redacted blocks, the terminal chrome — those are part of the aesthetic, not gatekeeping. You don't need to know any lore to listen to a song, watch a video, or read an episode.
If you enjoy what's here, the Codex tiers fund production of the next releases. That's it.
HOW THE MIX
LOOKS FROM INSIDE
Chromesthesia (also called sound-to-color synesthesia) is a neurological condition in which heard sound — pitch, timbre, rhythm — involuntarily evokes the experience of color. Frequencies don't just have tone; they have hue, saturation, and position in space.
Ideasthesia runs in the same room. Where chromesthesia binds sound to color, ideasthesia binds meaning to perception — a concept, mood, or intention arrives already wearing a hue, a density, a place on the field. The idea shows up pre-colored, and the mix chases it.
For LUX.INVIDIA, mixing is a painting process. Sub-bass settles as deep reds at the floor. Mids bloom magenta and blue. Highs flicker green and yellow at the ceiling. The sliders below shape the same internal canvas used while producing — density of strands, contrast weight, and how much absence the texture can carry before the field collapses.
I never learned to play an instrument. My parents didn't have the money, and when I got older I didn't have the discipline. But I could never leave music alone — I missed her. The language. The puzzle. I keep a giant piano chart on the wall just to get by.
When I came back it was awkward. Right now she's basically a roommate again. This weekend bled into Monday and I made five bangers. That's how it works when the idea shows up with a color already attached.

The current broadcast — latest signals, updates, and recovered data.
The music. Streaming MP3s are public; lossless WAVs are CORE-tier downloads.
The serialized sci-fi narrative — characters, factions, episodes.
Optional support tiers + the production bible. Pays for new releases.
RELEASE WINDOWING, NOT A PAYWALL
Everything reaches everyone eventually. Higher tiers just see new releases sooner. Nothing is permanently locked behind a paid wall.
