The collective produces constant low-level chatter — repair allocation, tissue-state exchange, sensory comparison, threat weighting, motor arbitration, chemical demand, memory association. Newly integrated NII may experience it as intrusive; with adaptation it becomes soft internal white noise. The host learns to filter it below conscious attention. Its presence may even become comforting.
